Samuel Dossou-Aworet, the Chairman and CEO of the PETROLIN Group of companies was presented yesterday with the "Distinguished Contribution to the African Oil Industry Award" for 2013 at the Global Pacific & Partners 21st Annual Africa Upstream Conference held in Cape Town between 3rd and 7th November 2014.  
 
PETROLIN Group welcomes the recognition that this award gives to Mr Samuel Dossou-Aworet for his commitment not just to business in Africa but also to its social and economic development, not least through his involvement in the Epine Dorsale infrastructure project in Benin and his charitable works since the beginnings of PETROLIN Group in 1992 in particular via Fondation Espace Afrique, a Swiss registered charitable foundation established in Geneva by Mr Samuel Dossou-Aworet.
